Be among the first to explore Albion's Barber Shops & Beauty Salons and Albion's Dams & Mills, two new exhibits revealing unique stories of Albion’s history, during Museum Appreciation Day at the Gardner House Museum on Saturday, November 23, from 12-3 p.m. Created in collaboration with the Albion Historical Society and Albion College intern, Madilyn Archambeau, these displays offer a glimpse into the city’s past. President Celeste Connamacher said that Madilyn's help at the museum played a critical role in finalizing the two exhibits. “Madilyn's insights combined with our initial plans made two skeleton displays blossom into full-bodied exhibits!” Special guests with intimate knowledge of each exhibit will also be in attendance. Light refreshments will be served, and the museum is open to the public free of charge. The Gardner House Gardner House Museum is located at 509 S. Superior Street in Albion.
