Lunchbox Series: Mental Health

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, that will be the topic for our Lunchbox Series! We will meet Friday, May 10th at 1 p.m. at the Albion Event Center

Our guest speakers are Melissa Cerqueira, who is an EAP Therapist from Henry Ford Allegiance Health, and Jenn Parker, who is an Activity Therapist Aide from Oaklawn Hospital.

Some of their talking points include:

• Brief review of Employee Assistance Programs and how they support employers and employees
• Information regarding the scope and impact of mental illness globally
• The difference between mental health and mental illness
• How to assess risk factors and intervene with individuals struggling with mental health problems
